I'm Famous... Or something?

Bike Commuters interviewed me earlier this week and asked for some photos from my commuting adventures.

Never mind the scowl on my face. I was having a pretty rough day that involved getting chafed by riding in my jeans without a liner, getting 80 minutes of sleep, and settling for a positively bland source of caffeine to get me through the work day. Check it out!

Ford Prefect thought towels were pretty important also.

Regarding a high proportion of bike commuters being in the high tech industry: Many many many cycling commuters in Silicon Valley. I've heard it said that for engineers, bicycling is an exercise in optimization. We do it because it makes sense in so many ways.

Loonies in the loony bin. I loved that sentence. I also wonder if techies actually are a larger than average riding group or we are simply more visible in cyber space.

It was an interesting profile to read. Also don't be so hard on your trek, it's not his/her fault that your having wheel problems. You'll hurt it's feelings.

That's a great interview. I'm thinking about following your lead on keeping clothes at work. Otherwise, I'm going to get caught without something important someday.
