Most popular photos of 2008

Also, I did it. 5,001.7 miles. I thought this moment would come with a lot more fanfare from me. Quite frankly, I feel like poo, and I probably shouldn't even be at work. I've got too much going on, though.

With that aside, here were the most popular photos of 2008 according to my Flickr Stats. I modified it to show only the ones I've posted here. Some are popular that I never posted here (and don't really belong here).

I need to go through and come up with my 10 personal favorites, because I have some favorites I took that weren't terribly popular on Flickr.

I'm not too sure about that. HAHA!

I may try to see if I can ride my bike more miles than both my wife and I drive combined in '09. That might be interesting.

Speaking of which, I haven't changed the oil in my Focus in over a year. I guess I'd better get crack-a-lackin'. I use synthetic that's good for 10,000 miles of regular use, 5,000 miles of "hard" use. I probably only have 4,000 miles on the oil. I barely touched the Focus this year.

Congrats Noah!! :)

Congrats on the mileage. I know some people prefer not to count miles. I've been keeping track since 2003. I think 2005 was my first 5000 mile year. That was a cool number to reach when it had seemed nearly impossible just a few years earlier.

I never doubted for a minute that you would vanquish your goal.

Congratulations on hitting the mark set by yourself. While flying home from Atlanta, I picked up an issue of Bicycling magazine. It was chock full of folks who have remade themselves through cycling. Thanks for being one of the many people who make cycling such a part of ordinary life. BTW, I'm starting to have an epiphany for myself as well. I think I'm going to pick up a trainer and start hammering again. I need to drop about fifty odd pounds (not the even kind). I'll use you as my idol! ;-)

You know, Lorin, instead of getting a trainer, you could just ride downtown with me a few times per week. :P

Congrats on hitting your goal -- that's a ton of mileage!

Cool idea, posting the most popular photos from '08. I think your personal favorites will be more interesting to see, though, because in my experience, my photos that become popular are usually not my best and have me scratching my head as to why they have so many views.
