The headwinds were back. 18-gusting-28 MPH winds. Un-freaking-real. I just picked a cadence (I guess high 70s/low 80s) and went with it. I averaged about 14 MPH on the way home, so I guess my plan worked out okay. Better than wearing myself out on my mountain bike.
Tomorrow, I'm going to ride my outlook to the mall and lock it up there. One of my co-workers can give me a ride home since he lives nearby. When I go to the mall tomorrow evening, I'll rescue my bike, if it's still there. Ugh.
Lunch on the company is cool and all, but I really kind of wish they could do things closer to work. Instead, we go all over the place to these parks and restaurants 20+ miles in the wrong direction. Oh well. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, right?
