"Zamboni"

Another rainy day. Loud storms overnight made for craptastical slumber. Craptastical is a word. I think I heard Flavor Flav say it on TV once.

The bus riders call this contraption "the Zamboni". It's not really a street sweeper. As far as I can tell it doesn't actually have any brushes. I think it's just a truck with a giant vacuum cleaner attached.

I think this is a sump pump drain in front of the Overland Park BPOE Lodge. It was just pumping and pumping away!

I can't get over how nifty the reflection from the moving, wet pavement looks in this one.

And as usual, the fenders save the day. The rain had stopped, but left the pavement all kinds of wet. I stayed dry.

Dosing up with JR so I don't doze off later today.

What the heck is this? Detroit!?

I'll have a late night in KC today. I'll be heading to The Cave (yes the one we'll be riding through in July) after work, sticking around for some training at CCCKC, then riding home sometime after dark. Thank goodness my NiteRider headlight is all charged up!
