The People of Best Buy

Some of you might be familiar with People Of Walmart. If you're really into making a mockery at other peoples' expense, I suppose it's good for a chuckle. I don't get like that very often.

I did, however, see this Lexus on my way home when I swung by Best Buy to pick up a new headset for my wife. I rang my bike's bell, but no one was around to notice.

Oh, yeah. September weather is finally here. It's about time.

Not sure if it's a big deal or not but you might want to consider blurring out their license plate.

Nice find.

In Kansas, there aren't many subversive things you can do with someone's license plate number, aside from crank call the police and lying about seeing the plate at the scene of a crime or submitting the plate number to one of the many trite "bad driver" websites.

There's no easy way, for example, for normal people to query Kansas DMV to get personal information using only the license plate.

I think you surrender your right to privacy when you put something like that on your Lexus. You gotta expect 10-20 people will walk by with a camera phone and the pictures smeared be all over facebook, twitter, etc.

Well the sign did say "honk" not "ring". Still you'd think at least a brief flash of one would be in order. Damn cagers.

I think maybe you let excitement cloud your judgement when you saw the sign. There's more that one definition of the word "boobs."

1. dumbbell: an ignorant or foolish person
2. drop the ball: commit a faux pas or a fault or make a serious mistake; "I blundered during the job interview"
3. breast: either of two soft fleshy milk-secreting glandular organs on the chest of a woman

You, obviously, were looking for No. 3; The driver was thinking No. 1.

The reason you didn't get a honk was either (a) you're not a boob or (b) you live in a place where there are so many boobs that the horn was worn out.

The Lexus was parked at Best Buy and the driver was not in the vehicle. No one was. I wasn't expecting much of anything, I just gave it a cursory ring of the bell as a way of saying "hooray for boobies!"

Also, the pink ribbons drawn alongside it combined with the fact that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month means that it most certainly was about breasts.
