Bus reflectivity.

I love helicopters.

It's a shame this one was transporting a baby that'd fallen down a flight of stairs. No, it wasn't anyone I know, but as far as I can tell, it survived after they got it stabilized.

I'd really love to ride in a helicopter and a hot air balloon some day. Both seem like fun. I do hope I never have to ride LifeStar, though.
When I lived in Atlanta (and neighboring DeKalb County) they would ticket cars parked facing traffic. Around Austin I often see cars parked on fire hydrants and nothing appears to be done about it. Sigh...
ReplyDeleteRiding in a helicopter is every bit as fun as it looks...back in 1985, I got a ride on a U.S. Army "AirEvac" Huey from Landstuhl to Heidelberg, W. Germany. The hospital told me, "you could wait around for a transport bus that comes in a couple hours, or if you can get ready in 5 minutes, there's a helicopter heading your way...which would you prefer?" I was 14 -- what do you think I chose!!!
ReplyDeleteF4 jets were doing manuvers in the area, and they came close enough that we passengers could see the pilots inside. So awesome!
Flying a helicopter is awesome man. Riding a bike to fly one is even better. If you're ever out my way I'll at least get you in the cockpit to check it out close up.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm. That last picture looks kind of familiar...

Yes it does. Never a good time at the hospital, ever. :(
