Turkey Creek Streamway Trail

Tonight, I took the A bus to Johnson Drive, then hopped over to ride the last 7 (or so) miles home partially via Turkey Creek Streamway Trail. The photo to the left is my lame attempt at some artsy fall bicycle photography while moving. You can see how thick the leaf cover is on TCS Trail, though. Anyhow, it's late and I need to crash. I wrapped up today with exactly 11 miles. I really hope this is the beginning of me getting back into the swing of things.

  1. Cool! I'm amazed it came out as well as it did. I mean, I have trouble taking a steady shot even when I'm NOT riding on a bike.

  2. The secret is taking about 15 photos then picking the best one. ;)

Most of mine were totally blurry. At full-resolution, the fork and rim were a bit blurry as well on this photo, but scaling it down made it a lot less obvious.

  3. That's a cool photo. I almost brought my camera with me this morning to try to capture the dreary morning, but I was running late and didn't take the time to do that.

  4. Hi Noah - I came across your blog via the Bike Forums website - I'm enjoying reading your blog. I keep a biking blog too - http://bikerchickchar.blogspot.com/

I see you live in the Olathe area - my roommate's family live in that area. I live in D.C. I get out to Olathe a couple times a year. I've done the Bike Across Kansas ride - have you?

I'm as crazy about biking as you are - I have 4 bikes at home, bike 32 miles a day roundtrip to work, ride year-round, take bike vacations....

You've got some good pictures on your blog - keep up the good work and drop me a line if you'd like to chat about biking!
