Another bike?! On MY bus?!

No pictures, because the guy got off a few stops after I boarded. For the first time since I started doing this back in September, I actually had to share the bike rack with another bike. This is fine, as the racks are built to accommodate two bicycles.

The other bike was a huffy rigid mountain bike that looks like it has seen better days, but a bike's a bike, and it's always neat to see that I'm not the only one doing it out here.

  1. I think there were a few other people out and about because of the break in the temperatures. Glorious day to ride.

  3. This summer there were actually several times where I tried to get on the MAX and had to wait for the next bus because the bike rack was already full. Which is a good problem to have :)

  4. I need to see what the Jo says about bikes *IN* the bus. Some cities have provisions to put the bike in the handicapped area if the rack is full. The seats fold away to make room for a wheelchair, revealing belts and stuff to secure the wheelchair... or bike.
